ABOUT CHRISTIE

Hi! My name is Christie. I answer to many titles in my life: wife, mom, Lolli, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and most importantly, a Christian. I’ve had the joy of being married to my husband, Andy, for almost twenty years. We have two sons, a daughter, two daughters-in-law, a son-in-law, and a grandson. Oh, and I can’t forget Sir Reginald the Wonder Yorkie and Olympia Nyx, our Belgian Malinois!

When I’m not working, you’ll find me reading, binge watching one of my favorite shows (again), on a body of water—kayaking, boating, or swimming—or enjoying nature in one of our jeeps. My passion for weddings and events and the excitement they bring, has been a lifelong journey. Serendipity Bliss started as a tiny spark years ago when I was a bridesmaid in my first wedding. I fell in love with the décor, the romance, and the magic of the event. As I embraced more weddings and events, an incredible opportunity arose when someone asked me to help plan one. That moment changed everything!

Finally, I decided that I wanted to change my career and pursue my passion. I have received my Professional Wedding Planner accreditation through education, experience, and events with ABC. Over the years, I’ve planned weddings, parties, Make-A-Wish events, church functions, Celebrations of Life, family gatherings, and so much more.

ABOUT ANDY

Let me take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Andy Hudson. I’m a husband to a wonderful wife, a dad to three great kids, and a proud Poppy to a beautiful grandson.

I know I might not fit the typical image of an event planner, so here is my story. I grew up as the son of a third-generation farmer, where hard work and fixing things with my hands came naturally to me. I channeled that into a career as a heavy truck mechanic. My amazing wife supported me throughout the years, and that support continued when we decided to become self-employed.

When she approached me with her dream of starting a business, I couldn’t say no! This marked the beginning of a new chapter in our lives. In 2019, we turned her dreams into reality and launched Serendipity Bliss. Since then, Christie has become a Professional Wedding Planner, and both of us are proud members of The Association of Bridal Consultants. With plenty of help from our Lord and a lot of hard work, this venture has transformed from a dream into a thriving business.

I still enjoy working with my hands every day—setting up tents, unloading tables and chairs, or building custom arches for our clients. The setting may be different, but the hard work remains the same. I look forward to working diligently to turn your dreams into a blissful reality.
